I attended a 2 day professional learning session here and thought the hotel was beautiful. The dining area has a lot of natural light from the abundance of windows and I really liked the funky colored wooden chairs. The pea soup was NOT good, way too salty and not even hot, but the awesome fries on the second day certainly made up for it.
Great restaurant. Solid three star hotel but could use some updates and quality control process improvements. Staff very friendly and helpful. Balcony doors do not have deadbolt locks so are not secure. Sliding windows have simple insecure latch only and both were unlocked when I arrived in room. No note paper or pen provided. Must pick up and return key for gym access which is inconvenient. Clean and quiet. Ask for bay view 2nd floor room.
Pleasantly surprised with the room quality. It's clear they are taking steps to try and increase the quality of the hotel in general. By no means is this a 5 star hotel, but compared to other similarly priced hotel experiences in NL, this is a good place to stay! Very friendly front desk service and the restaurant is excellent as well.
After a long day on the road, were getting tired and looked for a nice place to hold up for the night. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and, best of all, things were quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
Great spot with wonderful views. Modern enough, and clean. It has a super hot tub and heated pool with play area that the kids loved.
